Scarification

Scarification is the removal of thatch build up in your lawn and is crucial for a healthy sward as thatch lawns encourage moss and enable diseases to spread more easily.

Scarification is not to be confused with lawn raking as using small DIY electric spring bladed machines can cause more damage than good, tearing shoots and removing little thatch for the damage they cause!
