Leatherjacket (Crane Fly) Treatment

Leatherjackets Bug

Leatherjacket (Crane Fly) treatment is designed to kill the larvae at a very early stage prior to any damage occurring. This is done around late October early November when the crane fly have just finished laying their eggs. This treatment then covers you for a year so you have peace of mind that your lawn is protected.

The lifespan of the adult is commonly only ten to fifteen days as its sole purpose is to mate. During this period, they can come to the attention of people as they fly ungracefully around exterior lights and invade households in search of a mate. The most practical approach to address high numbers of leatherjackets is to improve lawn care. Allow your lawn to go dormant during the summer.

Yearly applications can be arranged for customers who are in areas prone to infestation.
